Case Study is under works on the portfolio. If required, I can send over the PDF version.
As part of my UX design course at General Assembly, I redesigned the e-commerce website for Joco Interiors, a UK-based local furniture brand. The goal was to modernise the site’s visual identity and improve usability by addressing issues like poor product categorisation and confusing navigation, messy and bulky product info, and missing reviews. The redesign focused on creating a more trustworthy, and enjoyable shopping experience while preserving Joco’s blend of traditional and contemporary style and implementing some strategic design decisions to help their business grow.

UX SKILLS
• The existing Joco Interiors website lacked usability, clarity, and modern
visual design, leading to a poor overall user experience. Users struggled
to navigate the site, find products efficiently, and complete purchases
with confidence.
• The interface did not follow user-centered design principles or meet
accessibility best practices. Key e-commerce features like intuitive
navigation, clear CTAs, and trust-building elements were either missing
or poorly executed.
• The challenge was to redesign the site by applying a complete UX
process from research to testing, to deliver a visually appealing and
user-focused solution aligned with both customer needs and business
goals.

THE CHALLENGE
• Redesigned the website to clearly communicate Joco’s value proposition and
build user trust, making it easier for users to understand the brand’s unique
offering.
• Introduced a modern visual style that reflects the brand’s traditional-yet-
contemporary personality through updated colours, layout, and tone.
• Restructured the information architecture with intuitive navigation and
surfaced 14 hidden collections, improving product discoverability and
creating a smoother, more user-friendly shopping experience.
